Job Overview
Adecco is currently hiring a temporary full-time Quality Inspector for Celestica, a globally known electronics manufacturer in Newmarket, ON. In this role you will be responsible for inspecting incoming electrical and mechanical components received from suppliers to ensure conformance with engineering product/component specifications. This position requires knowledge of electrical component data sheets, technical drawings, and quality standards.
All applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. This role is subject to the Canadian Government's Controlled Goods Program (CGP); therefore a Canadian citizenship or permanent residency status is required. A work permit status is not eligible for this role.
Job Details- Pay rate: $19.00/hour
- Location: Newmarket, ON
- Shifts: Monday to Friday | 6:30 am - 3:00 pm

- Provides expertise in the areas of incoming material inspection and systems transactions.
- Inspects incoming electrical and mechanical components to ensure conformance with engineering product/component specifications.
- Uses inspection equipment such as microscopes, optical comparators, pin gauges, coordinate measuring machine, surface plate, and various hand tools to verify parts meet dimensional specs and tolerances.
- Assures visual integrity of incoming material and provides support to Supplier quality engineers in incoming rejections disposition.
- Initiates and processes incoming inspection rejections.
- Processes non‑conforming material, including coordinating and sending material back to the supplier.
- Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada.
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of internal customers.
- Ability to understand electrical component data sheets and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of personal computers and Windows applications.
- Knowledge of quality standards.
