This role offers a blend of hands-on work and design input.

As a successful candidate, you have completed a provincial apprenticeship and possess five years of toolmaking expertise in the automotive industry. Your work will involve solving tooling issues, implementing changes, and ensuring quick die change requirements are met. Cooperation with other team members and mentoring apprentices are essential aspects of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solve production-related tool and die problems effectively

• Complete documentation for tool inventory and maintenance

• Make modifications to fixtures and tools as required

• Ensure quality standards in all tooling processes

• Test and provide samples that meet customer specs

Requirements:

• Completed provincial tool and die apprenticeship

• At least five years as a registered toolmaker

• Deep understanding of automotive press equipment

• Proficiency in nitrogen and pneumatic systems

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
