Our client located in Newmarket, Ontario is currently seeking an Automation Technician.
SHIFT: PLEASE SPECIFY WHAT SHIFT YOU PREFER WHEN APPLYING . Days, Afternoons and Nights Pay: per hour. Depending on experience.
Scope of Position:
Automation Technician will play a key role in ensuring the reliable performance of manufacturing equipment, with a focus on PLC-controlled systems, vision inspection equipment, barcoding integration, electromechanical presses, and CNC machining centers. This position is responsible for the diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and continuous improvement of automated systems and computer-controlled machinery.
The role directly supports production efficiency, product quality, and equipment uptime in a fast-paced, technology-driven manufacturing environment.
Ability to perform mechanical repairs where required.
