Cogir Senior Living is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide exceptional care for residents. You will play a vital role in our multi-disciplinary team, delivering personalized nursing care in accordance with provincial standards. This position also involves training and mentoring unregulated care providers to ensure high-quality service and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide planned, patient-centered nursing care
• Implement and evaluate care plans with residents
• Complete and maintain accurate clinical assessments
• Teach and mentor unregulated care providers
• Build trusted relationships through effective communication
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Experience with seniors and unregulated care providers
• Strong clinical knowledge and organizational skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
• Willingness to obtain a current Vulnerable Sector Check
