Enhance your nursing experience with Southbridge Care Homes as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse. This position focuses on delivering top-notch care during evening and night shifts, supporting a vital mission of excellence.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will oversee resident assessments and care plan implementations while ensuring compliance with nursing standards. You are expected to direct and support nursing staff and any related activities, ensuring high-quality service and care for seniors. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide care following established nursing and health standards
• Monitor health conditions and update care plans proactively
• Organize functions related to restorative and palliative care
• Guide and mentor nursing personnel on the unit
• Record and report vital health parameters
Requirements:
• Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Eligibility for registration with the Registered Practical Nurses Association
• Up-to-date First Aid and BLS Certification
• Familiarity with infection control measures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
