Join Southlake Health as a Charge Nurse Lead in Newmarket, ON, driving clinical leadership in a supportive environment. This temporary, full-time role focuses on enhancing patient care through collaboration and assessment.
In this role, you will provide project leadership for patient care assessments in adult inpatient settings. Bring your extensive nursing experience and skills in workflow analysis to engage with clinical teams effectively. Your ability to facilitate discussions on workload and care needs will play a crucial role in improving quality and reliability of care data.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete patient care needs assessments in designated units
• Build strong interprofessional partnerships for project success
• Leverage expertise to enhance nursing workflows
• Collect and analyze data to drive improvements
• Create and deliver educational materials for staff
Requirements:
• Valid Registered Nurse license and Charge Nurse experience
• At least three years in acute care settings
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR mandatory
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required, Master’s preferred
