Provide patient-focused nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario. Apply clinical standards and collaborative practice.
This temporary, full-time RPN position supports patients and families within the RPN scope of practice. You will communicate with healthcare teams, assess health status, document care, and support plans for patients with complex health issues. Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient and family-focused care within RPN scope
- Assess and document patient health status continuously
- Assist with care plans and evaluate effectiveness
- Collaborate with nurses and interprofessional healthcare teams
- Support peer consultation, orientation, and clinical learning
- Recognized RPN diploma and current BLS certification
- Ontario RPN registration in good standing
- Availability for twelve-hour shifts, nights, and weekends
- Electronic documentation knowledge and strong communication skills
- Commitment to learning, teamwork, safety, and inclusive care
