Our Family Office owns and operates a private, well-maintained multi-species hobby farm (“Over the Rainbow”) in East Gwillimbury, home to over 30 animals including both large and small species. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Lead Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to play a key role in advancing animal health, welfare, training, and day-to-day farm operations.
This is a highly hands-on position suited to a skilled RVT who values exceptional animal care and understands that outstanding welfare is supported by thoughtful husbandry, safe facilities, and consistent routines. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining high standards across both clinical care and the physical farm environment.

The LRVT will report directly to the Farm Manager, with select communication and reporting responsibilities to the Family Office and family leaders. This role is trusted, visible, and integral to the overall success of the farm.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Flexibility to work off shift and weekends (events and emergencies)

We’re looking for someone who brings:
• Demonstrated large animal experience (Equine and other small animals)
• No bee allergy
• Comfortable with physically demanding work in all weather conditions (Some lifting, up to 50lbs.)
• Strong organizational skills and clear, professional communication
