Quality Engineering Specialist at Magna

As a Quality Engineering Specialist, you will play a vital role in managing the Customer Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and all aspects of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP). Your experience in automotive engineering, coupled with effective problem-solving, will enable you to lead plant trials and resolve warranty issues promptly. Collaboration with suppliers and internal teams is key to ensuring product delivery success and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead PPAP and APQP adherence throughout project timelines

• Manage customer quality concerns and resolve warranty issues

• Coordinate and participate in Internal/Supplier Drawing Reviews

• Develop Control Plans and Inspection Standards

• Ensure effective launch containment and timely issue closures

Requirements:

• 5-7 years in quality engineering or mechanical engineering

• ASQC certification preferred (CQE)

• Tier 1 automotive experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of GD&T and quality processes

• Community college diploma or equivalent
