Part Time Sales Associate

Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket, ON

Hours:

20-25 hours per week

Compensation: $17.60 per hour + uncapped commission + 50% discount on your monthly wireless plan

• Engage mall shoppers and follow every step of the sales process
• Build and maintain a list of prospective clients using our CRM tool
• Act as an ambassador for WOW! and its brands, creating hype and awareness in the mall environment
• Offer personalized, unbiased advice to customers
• Consistently achieve all key business metrics and deliver an excellent customer experience
• Participate in documented coaching conversations
• Manage inventory receiving, signing, and securing
• Follow merchandising, daily store cleanliness, and operational standards including opening/closing the kiosk
• Complete required training modules and stay current on promotions, products and policies
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining high integrity
• Handle cash, POS, and inventory systems
• Work during mall operating hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Manage multiple priorities with urgency and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment

• Prior customer‑facing experience in retail or hospitality using a point‑of‑sale system
• Availability to work evenings and weekends in the mall
• Experience in wireless retail or commission sales is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to initiate conversations with mall traffic
• Proactive and self‑motivated, open to feedback and coaching
• Physical ability to lift 30–50 pounds and stand for extended periods
