Stock merchandise overnight for The Home Depot while organizing aisles, operating equipment, and supporting customers with project needs.
Freight Team Associates keep merchandise available, accessible, and safely presented throughout the sales floor. The work includes stocking, packing orders, merchandising promotions, and maintaining organized overheads. Customer service is provided according to demand, using The Home Depot’s Get Model:
Greeting, Engaging, and Thanking.
- Stock shelves to achieve 100% in stock
- Pack out and pack down merchandise as directed
- Merchandise new items and promotions
- Organize overheads and maintain aisle shoppability
- Move freight using appropriate equipment safely
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years retail or distribution experience is an asset
- Organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to climb ladders 12 to 16 feet
- Reach truck, forklift, or order picker knowledge is an asset
