Become a Program Services Coordinator with The Salvation Army in Newmarket, Ontario, where you’ll lead a dedicated team committed to community support and housing solutions. Engage in mentorship, data management, and program coordination.
This full-time position involves overseeing the work of Program Services Caseworkers while advocating for individuals in need. You'll facilitate training, manage schedules, and maintain compliance with operational standards in a collaborative environment aimed at addressing complex social issues in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership and support to program staff
• Ensure compliance with HIFIS management and documentation
• Lead the development of program activity planning
• Coach and onboard new staff, ensuring proper training
• Maintain accurate payroll and staffing schedules
Requirements:
• Minimum college diploma in social services
• Two to three years of supervisory and homelessness experience
• Understanding of anti-racism and equity principles
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Valid Driver’s License is an asset
