In this full-time role, you will provide outreach to marginalized youth aged 12-21, helping them make healthy life choices. Your work will involve engaging families and building strong community partnerships to enhance youth outcomes. Key skills required are effective communication, problem-solving, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate outreach programs for youth engagement
• Advocate for better access to youth services
• Build partnerships with community stakeholders
• Maintain accurate service data and reporting
• Prepare quarterly and yearly reports for oversight agencies
Requirements:
• College diploma in Social Services or related field
• Previous experience with at-risk populations (1-3 years)
• First Aid/CPR and Conflict Resolution certification
• Valid Class G Driver’s License
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
Support at-risk youth through outreach programs and community collaboration as part of your mission with The Salvation Army.
