Caseworker Salvation Army

Position: Caseworker at The Salvation Army
Make an impact as a Caseworker at The Salvation Army, primarily at Belinda’s Place. This role supports clients facing homelessness and provides essential case work and facilities management.

You will assist clients in their journey to stable housing through admissions and case triaging. Strong communication skills are vital, as you will document case notes and collaborate with internal teams. Working on-site means you will have a direct impact on clients and experience diverse challenges daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform intake processing and case documentation

• Support clients in housing-stability planning

• Maintain HIFIS account for case management

• Communicate incident reports to management

• Conduct moderate cleaning of facilities

Requirements:

• College diploma in social services or equivalent

• Experience with homelessness, mental health, and addictions

• Understanding of women’s issues in service sectors

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage confidential information
