Become a key support figure for individuals at risk of homelessness with The Salvation Army as a Program Services Case Worker. Foster a positive environment and help clients engage in essential activities.
In this role, you will oversee interactions at the Drop-In Center, ensuring client safety and comfort. Engaging in advocacy and case management, you will provide vital resources while maintaining confidentiality.
Experience with community programs and strong interpersonal skills are key to success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with orientation and needed information
• Maintain client documentation and program statistics
• Provide access to essential services and meals
• Advocate for clients in the community
• Conduct regular facility safety checks and maintenance
Requirements:
• Minimum college diploma in Social Sciences or relevant experience
• 1-3 years working with homeless individuals
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health/addiction issues
• Strong communication and organization skills
• Ability to undergo background screening
