Become a key player in driver training with First Student as an Experienced Level 1 Driver Trainer in Richmond Hill, ON. Focus on skill enhancement and safety culture.
This part-time position attracts skilled drivers dedicated to training and mentoring. You will deliver fundamental training to both new and current drivers while contributing to their professional development.
Your role also supports safety initiatives, ensuring compliance and excellence in driving practices across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Train new bus drivers in classroom and driving scenarios
• Conduct refresher training for veteran drivers
• Assist with candidate onboarding and initial training
• Coach drivers to improve safety and confidence
• Document performance evaluations accurately
Requirements:
• Class B license or higher with appropriate endorsements
• Minimum 1 year driving experience in a school bus
• Clean driving record within the last three years
• Strong mentorship and communication skills
• Commitment to safety standards and best practices
