This exciting opportunity is Ideal for an experienced car mechanic or mechanical professional ready to pass on their skills.
This role is perfect for someone from a hands-on automotive or mechanical background who wants to move away from the tools and into a rewarding training role, using transferable skills to support others into employment.
Based on-site at Highpoint you will be mentroing , you’ll work with small groups of adult learners, helping them develop practical skills, confidence, and positive behaviours that support long-term employability and rehabilitation.
What You’ll Be Doing

* Delivering engaging vocational training in a secure environment

* Supporting learners with skills development, behaviour, and future goals

* Creating and following structured training plans

* Using varied teaching methods to suit different learning styles

* Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism
What We’re Looking For

* A minimum of Level 2 vocational qualification

* Strong hands-on experience in mechanical / automotive or related trades

* Experience delivering practical or vocational training (formal or informal)

* Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage learners

* Teaching or assessing qualification desirable — full support provided if you don’t have one yet
