We are looking for a specialist to join a well-regarded secondary school on a long-term basis, delivering impactful lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for A-Level teaching for the right candidate.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a mandatory requirement for this role.

• Specialist Instruction: Design and deliver a comprehensive Physics curriculum that challenges students and fosters a deep understanding of physical laws.
• Practical Laboratory Leadership: Oversee safe and engaging experiments—from circuit building to wave investigations—ensuring students bridge the gap between theory and reality.
• Exam Success: Prepare Year 11 (and potentially Year 13) students for their examinations with targeted revision, mock assessments, and personalised feedback.
• Inclusive Pedagogy: Differentiate your teaching methods to ensure Physics is accessible and stimulating for learners of all abilities and backgrounds.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential.
• A relevant degree in Physics or a closely related STEM discipline.
• Proven experience teaching the UK Physics curriculum at the Secondary level.
• Strong classroom management skills and an unwavering commitment to laboratory safety.
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with students, colleagues, and parents.
• An enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
