Application Support Engineer

My client is a well-established global engineering business with a growing presence across global markets, they are expanding their team and are looking for a technically minded individual to join their business in Newmarket
.

You will work closely with customers, internal engineering teams and other departments providing:
pre-sales technical support, internal technical support & post-sales technical support.

• Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process
• Review and interpret engineering specifications and understand customer application requirements.
• Identify opportunities to recommend additional products and solutions where appropriate.
• Take ownership of nominated key accounts with more complex technical requirements.
• Manage complex customer orders through the business, coordinating with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

• A technical engineering background or relevant technical experience.
• Experience with in applications engineering, technical support, technical sales or account management
  .
• A proactive approach and willingness to develop technical and product knowledge.
• A strong customer-focused mindset and commitment to delivering excellent service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A commercially minded and proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities
• The ability to understand technical specifications and customer requirements.
