Cleaning Operative
Location:
HMP Highpoint, CB8 9YG
Salary: £25,775.88
Contract:
Full-time, Permanent; 39 hours a week
- Clean and maintain prison facilities, ensuring high standards of hygiene and safety.
- Support the Facilities Maintenance Team in the day‑to‑day running of the prison.
- Collaborate with colleagues in plumbing, electrical, carpentry and other maintenance roles.
- Identify and report any maintenance or safety issues.
- Experience of working within a cleaning environment.
- Knowledge of COSHH.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
- Excellent organisational, time‑management and people skills.
- 25 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays.
- Death in Service at 4× salary.
