MIG Welder – Temp to Perm | Newmarket | Up to £15.20 per Hour

Location: Newmarket, CB8
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay: £14.20 per hour, increasing to £15.20 per hour after successfully completing your probation

We're currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturer in Newmarket . This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable hours, overtime, and the chance to secure a permanent position.

You'll be responsible for welding and fabricating agricultural machinery components to a high standard, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.

Producing high-quality weld assemblies

Reading and working from engineering drawings

Operating workshop machinery safely and efficiently

Maintaining workshop tools and equipment

Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe

Following all company health and safety procedures

Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines

Supporting the team with overtime during busy periods

Previous MIG welding experience (essential)

Ability to MIG weld to a high standard

Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Experience welding stainless steel

Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

A reliable, hardworking attitude with a strong focus on safety

£14.20 per hour , rising to £15.20 per hour after probation

Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
