Overview
Head chef required for a Gastro pub in the Newmarket area. This is a fresh foodpub, with locally sourced produce. The kitchen team consists of 3 people, and the role is highly hands‑on. The head chef will manage the team and be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen. Staff finish at 6pm on a Sunday. The salary is £38,000‑£40,000 per annum.
A valid driving licence is required due to the location.
- Lead a kitchen team of three.
- Prepare and cook in service.
- Coordinate the pass.
- Handle all standard head chef duties.
- Create themed menu nights as required.
- Fresh food background.
- Good knife skills.
- Passion for a gastro pub style menu.
- On‑site parking.
