Merchandising Executive - Temporary

We are recruiting for a proactive and detail-driven Search & Merchandising Executive to take ownership of onsite search, merchandising, and product data across established ecommerce brands.

This role sits at the heart of the ecommerce trading function and plays a critical role in ensuring customers can easily find products, categories are compellingly merchandised, and online presentation drives conversion while reflecting brand values.

The successful candidate will combine analytical thinking with creative merchandising flair, managing onsite search performance, category content, and product data accuracy. Working closely with product attributes, spreadsheets, and PIM systems, they will ensure all product information is complete, optimised, and accurately reflected within Shopify.
Key responsibilities include owning onsite search best practices, including synonym management, redirects, and fallback rules, conducting regular site walks, refining category structures and product placement, and supporting new product launches. The role will also support ecommerce trading through reporting and insight generation, ensuring marketing campaigns and promotions are executed accurately onsite.

This position requires close cross-functional collaboration with Buying, Product, Operations, Customer Services, Finance, and the wider D2C Trading team, acting as a key point of contact for product availability and site-related issues.

We are seeking candidates with hands-on experience in ecommerce search, merchandising, and product data management, ideally across multi-brand or complex product ranges. Strong commercial awareness, high attention to detail, and confidence working with Excel, PIM systems such as Plytix, and ecommerce platforms including Shopify are essential.

Experience with onsite search and merchandising tools and an understanding of SEO and product data optimisation are highly desirable.

This is a temporary role for around 8 weeks starting in January 2026. Part time and full time are both considered and hybrid working is offered.
