Class 2 drivers wanted for ongoing work | Newmarket / Cambridge | Monday to Friday

We're looking for an experienced Class 2 (Category

C) HGV Driver to join one of our clients on an ongoing basis, delivering plant and powered-access equipment.

This is a great opportunity for a driver who enjoys getting out on the road, dealing with customers and operating a proper Class 2 vehicle rather than spending the day doing the same few drops.

• Class 2 / Category C driving
• Delivering and collecting plant and powered-access equipment
• 7:00am starts
  , finishing around 5:00pm
• Monday to Friday
• Around 10 hours per day
• Manual vehicle
• Ongoing work, with the potential for a temp-to-perm position

You'll need:

• A valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• At least 2 years' HGV driving experience
• A good driving record
• A professional attitude and good customer service skills
• Experience with plant hire or plant deliveries would be ideal
  , although we'll consider the right experienced Class 2 driver.

John and Spencer have both driven for Driver Hire Cambridge clients themselves, so we know the job from the driver's side of the cab.

If we wouldn't do the job ourselves, we won't ask you to do it.

We'll give you the information you need before you start and, where appropriate, we'll meet you on your first assignment to help you get settled in.
