Booking in Clerk

We are currently recruiting for a Coldstore Receipt Clerk to join a busy and supportive warehouse team based at a depot in Newmarket.

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm
Pay Rate: £13.02 per hour
You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the coldstore receipt and warehouse operations. Duties will include allocating vehicles to tipping bays, coordinating with the Stock Office and Yard Shunter, receipting incoming stock, monitoring trailer activity, checking stock and completing relevant documentation and system updates.
Full training will be provided on the Warehouse Management System (WMS), making this a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and progress within a warehouse and supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Allocating third-party and company vehicles to bays for tipping.
 
* Liaising with the Stock Office, Yard Shunter and other departmental areas.
 
* Coordinating the tipping and receipting of stock from trailers.
 
* Monitoring yard and trailer activity using in-house systems.
 
* Checking incoming stock for non-conforming issues.
 
* Raising Inbound Standard Notifications (ISNs) where required.
 
* Using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
 
* Completing general clerical duties within operational areas.
 
* Supporting the Shift Supervisor with day-to-day operational requirements.
About You
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, attentive and organised, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will have good attention to detail and be able to work to schedules, procedures and deadlines. The successful candidate will also be comfortable working under pressure and have a basic understanding of computer systems.
Previous warehouse or administrative experience would be advantageous, but full training will be provided.
