PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
: to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The duties and responsibilities regularly performed for this position are:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:

  • Tracking and maintaining training schedules and courses ensuring certifications are compliant with regulations, policies and procedures
  • Maintaining employees records of competence and assessment
  • Co-ordinating in person training facilitation and organizing logistical support (ordering supplies & materials, catering etc.) in partnership with internal and external trainers
  • Act as a point-of-contact for vendors and participants, ensuring purchase orders and invoices are processed in a timely fashion
  • Tracking and managing certification/training records for site(s)
  • Evaluating Operations technical training effectiveness and learner engagement
  • Tracking and incorporating changes to training program content made at regional level.
  • Monitoring execution of certification activities.
  • Assessing and evaluating potential trainers.
  • Supporting Training staff/Trainers.

SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/PROFICIENCIES:

  • Excellent administrative, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and written skills.
  • Proven ability to work flexibly under pressure and maintain accuracy whilst working to deadlines
  • Highly organized, detailed conscious, able to handle multiple deliverables
  • Works under limited supervision for routine situations.
  • Able to assign aptitude or competency tests to assess learners
  • Thoughtful and effective communications skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Power Point

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Preferred 3+ years of experience as a Training Coordinator, Project Coordinator or similar role.
  • Experience working for a manufacturing organization would be an advantage
