Clinical Office Assistant - White Oak

Responsibilities

• RESPONSIBLE FOR: Responsible for providing a variety of patient care activities under the supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Duty assignments vary and include, but are not limited to front office and back office functions.

• MINIMUM
  
  EDUCATION REQUIRED:
  
  
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program required.
  • In lieu of formal education program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience required.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
  
  REQUIRED:
  
  
  • One (1) year of experience in a medical office setting is required with completion of a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant program.
  • In lieu of formal education program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is required.
• MINIMUM LICMarket
  ER/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
  None
• ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • BLS required.
  • Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization required.
