Business Data Analyst

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Business Data Analyst I to turn operational information into insights that help improve performance and reduce costs. This onsite role in Newnan, GA focuses on building and maintaining analytics reporting in Power BI while working directly with site and sector teams to support efficient, data-driven decisions.

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports that support both operational and strategic decisions
• Handle end-to-end Power BI development, including data visualization and back-end data model design
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX
  , and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements
• Partner with site and sector leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction
• Support functional teams such as HR and Finance with customized analytical solutions as business needs evolve
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable insights through presentations and internal or customer-facing reports
• Leverage data from multiple operational systems, including a Warehouse Management System and Timekeeping systems
• Manage analytics projects independently, from concept to delivery
• Act as a point of contact for Power BI questions and ongoing support

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or 4 years of equivalent professional experience (required)
• 1+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related area (required)
• Hands-on experience using SQL or other scripting languages such as Python or R to query, clean, and transform data (required)
• Proficiency in Power BI
  , including building dashboards and reports from scratch (required)
• Experience writing DAX expressions to automate and enhance Power BI reports (required)
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques (preferred)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights (preferred)
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines (required)
• Must be able to work fully onsite if the role is based out of a warehouse (required)
