Pratt Retail Specialties, LLC is seeking a talented and energetic Regional Quality Manager to improve, promote, and sustain the Quality Management System. The selected individual will be hardworking with solid quality skills and a strong knowledge of flexible films (cast and/or blown stretch and bubble film) and paper packaging, which is an additional advantage.

The position is home‑based in Newnan, GA, but requires frequent domestic travel to the Northeast, Midwest, Texas, and occasionally West Coast. Total travel is expected to be 60% of the time.

What You Will Do In Your Role:
  • Lead the quality effort across a regional set of sites.
  • Add value and expertise in the flexible film and paper packaging converting areas in applicable locations.
  • Oversee flexible films manufacturing and paper packaging converting operations.
  • Conduct internal audits and manage corrective actions.
  • Maintain the Document Change System and manage system calibration.
  • Handle non‑conforming material system and drive quality manufacturing results.
  • Create documentation to ensure ISO/BRC and other regulatory requirements.
  • Review product testing data, plant scrap data, and customer complaints to identify improvement areas.
  • Lead and participate in cross‑functional quality initiatives.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of product manufacturing, usage, and test implications.
  • Collaborate closely with Design, Operations, Product Management, Sales, and Supply Chain to drive quality results.
  • Lead quality staff on performance metrics and develop key manufacturing metrics.
  • Drive plant accountability in vendor performance tracking, customer complaint resolution, critical defect investigations, and quality data analysis.
  • Support HR with quality employee performance issues.
  • Establish and manage systems for "right first time" performance and embed this philosophy in continuous improvement teams.
Requirements:
  • Experience in flexible films manufacturing and converting, including product knowledge, operations management, and process improvement.
  • Experience with paper packaging converting (paper bags, flooring products, and sheeted paper).
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 (Food Safety).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desire to drive improvements with project management/leadership experience.
  • Results‑oriented with the capability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.

Mathematical

Skills:

Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurements, volume, and rate.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables, interpreting instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Physical Demands:
Regular walking, talking, and hearing; frequent standing; handling, reaching, and occasionally sitting. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Work Environment:
Exposure to wet/humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and a typically loud noise level.
