Quality Inspector

Job description:

A strong process and quality specialist with an excellent ability to inspect, measure and analyze components and assemblies to ensure conformity to customer specifications. Proficient with quality auditing procedures and lean manufacturing initiatives. Performs investigations and audits into out of box warranty calls, root cause and corrective actions.

• Work with QEHS to communicate and implement Quality Assurance procedures and directives in the manufacturing areas.
• Documents and analyzes discrepancies in processes and products.
• Work to audit in process work to determine conformance to drawings, sales orders, and
• Work to document findings root-cause of out of box warranty issues.
• Work to develop material for corrective actions.
• Maintain production floor audit plans.
• Work with QEHS to create and implement process standards, quality alerts and work instructions.
• Maintain controlled documents log and revisions logs.
• Work with QC team to develop training plans around quality alerts and work instructions.

• Ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and assembly test procedures.
• Proven ability in record keeping and file organization.
• Experience with computerized systems such as Word, Excel, etc.
• Excellent investigation skills required for root-cause analysis of process failures, warranty claims, etc.

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in fabrication, assembly or other manufacturing operations.
• Background in QC/QA Manufacturing and Training field preferred.

• Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am- 4:30 pm, additional hours may be required
• Working on the production floor in an uncontrolled climate manufacturing plant
• Standing on feet for approximately 90% of workday.
• Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs on a regular basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay Rate: $25 per hour
