Location:

Piedmont Newnan Hospital, Newnan, GA. This role provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. The staff nurse functions within Piedmont’s policies and procedures, demonstrating professional growth and accountability while maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities to deliver quality nursing care.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities.
• Demonstrate professional growth and accountability within the organization’s policy framework.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current license in Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN). BLS certification required.
• New graduate eligibility; one year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required for PRN positions.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in specialty field, if applicable.
• Additional qualifications:
  
  PRN positions require experience; an additional $5/hr differential applies for all hours worked.
