RN Residency Spring 2026 - Piedmont Newnan
Join to apply for the RN Residency Spring 2026 – Piedmont Newnan role gram will begin February 2026. Our 12‑month transition‑to‑practice program supports the transition from student to professional nurse through education, mentorship and peer support. It includes precepted orientation led by dedicated preceptors and blended learning experiences.
Responsibilities- Develop clinical judgment needed to recognize changes in patient condition and respond to clinical situations.
- Develop excellent communication skills to engage with colleagues and support patients.
- Participate in cohort experiences that promote peer and professional socialization.
- Learn didactic content tailored to new graduates.
- Apply nursing processes (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) to provide care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
- Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff and maintain standards of practice.
Available in Acute Care, Critical Care, Emergency Department, Women’s Services, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Surgical Services, Transplant, and more.

- Graduate of a nursing program
- New graduate eligible
- Current Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- BLS certification required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
