Maintenance Mechanic - Heating & Air Certified
The Housing Authority of Newnan is seeking 3 qualified candidates for the role of Maintenance Mechanic with Heating & Air Certification. The successful applicant will perform skilled, journeyman-level maintenance tasks related to repairs, vacancy preparation, and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment. Skills required include plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, masonry, painting, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED, experience in maintenance, construction, or related fields, a valid driver’s license, and certification in heating and air conditioning at the time of application. Requirements- 40 hours per week+
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license required

Salary range: $18.50 – Negotiable
Full-time, permanent position with benefits including paid holidays, vacation, sick leave, medical insurance, 401K retirement plan, dental, health, life, and disability insurance, and clothing/uniform allowance.
