Staff Accountant – Public Accounting

This position requires continuous learning and applying technical skills to effectively work as part of a team. Effective communication skills are a must as you will be working with complex accounting tax and audit engagements. Perform reviews, compilations, audits, business and individual income tax returns

Works as an effective team member to complete projects and tasks

Develops technical skills on the job and through CE

Performs research on accounting principles and tax law

Self directed learner who can multi-task between projects

Builds strong working relationships at peer and client levels

Bachelor's degree and working towards CPA Certification

Prior experience in accounting, or public accounting is a plus

Technical knowledge

Excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards

Effective communication skills, both written and oral

Demonstrates a “can do” attitude with initiative for growth opportunities
