Audit Senior Job Description

An Audit Senior Accountant is newly in a position of advanced technical aptitude and supervisory responsibilities. A Senior must be able to handle more complex assignments than the staff, begin to learn the complete process of managing all tasks regarding client work, and take a lead role in developing/reviewing the work of less experienced staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with audits, reviews and compilations for clients in various industries
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and evaluate internal controls
• Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, fieldwork and wrap-up
• Deep understanding of accounting and reporting standards
• Develop reasonable time budgets and coordinate audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines
• Interact with clients to help ensure the information flow from the client to the audit team is efficient
• Communicate with Manager and/or Director on work status and client issues that arise

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Master’s degree or 150 credits completed
• 2-6 years in relevant position
• Bi-lingual in English and Mandarin is a plus
• CPA or actively working toward passing the CPA Exam, or relevant certification for respective discipline as soon as possible, if certification is not already attained.
• Must maintain required CPE credits annually
• Must be open to international travel
