We are seeking a Senior Project Accountant to support the accounting and operations team. This position is newly created due to growth (multiple development projects in 2025) and will report to the Development Director.

Responsibilities:

Set up projects in the Yardi Construction Manager system.

Prepare and maintain project files, including budget information.

Reconcile project costs with the general ledger and perform financial analysis.

Prepare and review client invoices to ensure they accurately reflect contract billing terms.

Perform collections on billable projects and provide other accounting support as required by the Director.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
5-8 years of post-graduate experience.
Experience in project accounting, budgeting, and billing within commercial, industrial, or multifamily industries.
Strong understanding of GAAP.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Experience with Yardi is a plus.
