We are currently seeking aStaff Engineer to be based out of our Orange County office. Miyamoto International is among the nation’s fastest growing structural engineering companies. With 30 locations across the globe, our team members adapt to new challenges that reflect the diverse needs of the domestic and international communities we serve.

• Bachelor’s degree in structural engineering curricula or related field, Master’s with emphasis on structure engineering desirable
• EIT/Fundamentals of Engineering certification desirable
• 0-3 years of relevant structural engineering experience; building design experience with OSHPD and DSA structures desirable;
  Intern experience and/or Cal Poly-Miyamoto SESH desirable
• Basic structural analysis and design skills knowledge of steel, concrete, masonry, and timber
• Advanced analysis with ETABS, SAP, and Ram Steel desirable
• Strong analytical and communications skills; client relations/business development desirable
• Self-Motivated and conscientious work ethic

The salary range for this position is $32.00 – $35.00 per hour. Salary offers are determined using a variety of factors, including but not limited to: years of experience, education, depth of knowledge, geographic location, and equity with internal staff.
