Our client is looking for an impact-driven Power BI Developer who can turn messy datasets into clean, compelling, and actionable insights. This role is perfect for someone who loves building powerful data models, crafting intuitive dashboards, and helping leaders across the business see exactly what’s happening—and why. You’ll shape the BI foundation, automate workflows, and elevate how the organization makes decisions.

• Location: Newport Beach, CA – Must be onsite
• Compensation: $135-150k/year FTE
• No Visa Sponsorship Available for this role

• Deliver end-to-end BI solutions including requirements gathering, data prep/modeling, DAX, visuals, performance tuning, deployment, and monitoring.
• Build high-impact dashboards covering revenue, utilization, ops, guest experience, and financial KPIs.
• Create star/snowflake models, implement RLS, and manage certified datasets in Power BI Service.
• Optimize query performance, manage gateways, and improve refresh/runtime reliability.
• Automate workflows using Power Automate and support light Power Apps for exception/approval processes.

• 5+ years in Analytics/BI with strong Power BI experience across data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and performance tuning.
• Strong SQL skills including Postgre
  
  SQL; experience with Microsoft Access for forms, reports, queries, and ODBC connections.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complexity into clarity for stakeholders.
• PL-300 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
• Nice-to-have experience with Progress, SQL Server, MySQL, SSIS/dbt, AWS/Azure databases, Tableau, Python, and Power Apps.
