About the Role
We are seeking a Dev Ops Engineer with strong development and operational expertise to join our front‑office technology team supporting trading and execution at one of the world’s largest asset managers. This team operates at the intersection of software development and systems administration, delivering day‑to‑day support while driving automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Build telemetry and observability solutions to enhance platform visibility
- Analyze and mitigate incidents; lead blameless post‑mortems and implement solutions to prevent recurrence
- Optimize workflows and reduce toil through automation and process improvements
- Plan, lead, and optimize production software and infrastructure for capacity and resiliency
- Leverage AI and next‑generation toolsets to improve platform uptime and team efficiency
- Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and vendor teams
- 2+ years as a developer with a strong focus on operations
- Proficiency in Python (preferred) or any major language (C#, Java, C++)
- Experience with Dev Ops practices, automation, and scripting
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Hands‑on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies
- Familiarity with Datadog, Git Hub, and SQL queries
- Understanding of ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration Management)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in high‑pressure environments
- Experience supporting trading platforms or financial services environments
- AI‑assisted development experience

Contract to Hire, Newport Beach, CA.
Pay and BenefitsPay range $75.00 – $80.00/hr eligible benefits include:
