Recruiting Manager - 9x Presidents Club / CEO Club

My client, a well respected and growing Personal Injury Law Firm based in Newport Beach, is seeking a diligent Personal Injury Case Manager/Paralegal to manage PI caseloads, support attorneys, and ensure smooth case progression from intake to settlement or trial, focusing on client communication, medical management, and litigation support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client & Case Management:
    Intake clients, maintain contact, manage case files (electronic & hardcopy), track treatment, and provide quality client care.
  • Medical Management:
    Request, review, and summarize medical records/bills; schedule appointments; obtain referrals; manage liens (Medicare/Medicaid).
  • Legal Document Support:
    Draft pleadings (complaints, interrogatories, motions), affidavits, settlement demands, discovery responses, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
  • Litigation Assistance:
    Prepare for depositions, trials, and mediations; organize exhibits; research legal publications; schedule proceedings; file documents.
  • Investigation:
    Send spoliation letters, obtain witness statements, photos, and police reports; investigate liability.
  • Negotiation:
    Assist with settlement discussions, negotiating with providers/adjusters to reduce bills and liens.
  • Communication:
    Serve as the main point of contact for clients, adjusters, medical providers, and courts.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a PI paralegal or case manager (1+ years).
  • Strong understanding of PI law, legal procedures, and state‑specific rules.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and common injuries.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with case‑management software and e‑filing.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
