About YouWe are seeking an experienced legal assistant or paralegal with at least 2 years of estate planning experience in a trust and estate law office. You will draft estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and deeds. Experience working directly with clients or conducting signing meetings is highly desirable. You thrive in a supportive, organized environment and enjoy being part of a team that delivers exceptional client service.
Responsibilities- Creating estate planning documents using firm software
- Preparing documents for client signing
- Interfacing with clients to gather information and provide follow up
- Conducting client signing meetings
- Assembling binders for delivery to clients
- Collaborating with the attorney to finalize comprehensive estate plans
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an estate planning law firm
- Comfortable interacting with clients in person, in writing, and by phone
- High comfort level with technology and learning new systems
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Self‑motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
- Dependability, professionalism, and punctuality
- California notary public preferred, but not required
- $60,000 to $78,000, commensurate with experience
