Stag Bar & Kitchen, located at the iconic Newport Beach Pier, is seeking skilled and passionate bartenders with proven high-volume experience to join our fast-paced team. Responsibilities- Craft and serve a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with speed, accuracy, and consistency, while maintaining expert knowledge of the bar menu and its offerings.
- Provide exceptional, personalized guest service by engaging in a friendly, professional manner, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and valued to create memorable experiences and foster guest loyalty.
- Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption to ensure responsible service in compliance with local laws and company policies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar, including prepping ingredients, restocking supplies, and adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service and support a positive, energetic environment across the bar and floor.
- Efficiently process orders and payments using the POS system, ensuring accuracy in transactions and handling of cash/credit.
- Proactively address and resolve guest concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues to management when needed.
- Uphold venue standards for professionalism, appearance, and hospitality, contributing to a high-quality guest experience from start to finish.
- Must be over 21 years old
- Possess a minimum of 3+ years bartending in high volume setting
- Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and be familiar with standard drink recipes
- Must have or be able to obtain Alcohol Beverage Control Responsible Beverage Service Training certification
- Must have or be able to obtain a CA Food Handlers Certificate
- Must be able to suggestively sell food and beverage items.
- Ability to handle money and give correct change.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
