We are seeking a Full-Time, non-supervisory Residential Estate Security Officer for a private residential estate in Newport Beach, California. This role is responsible for maintaining the safety, security, and privacy of designated residences, principals, and assets through disciplined observation, professional judgment, and consistent protective presence.

The Residential Estate Security Officer operates as part of an integrated security program, working closely with the Executive Protection team, estate management, and security leadership. This position requires discretion, reliability, and the ability to recognize and respond appropriately to abnormal conditions without unnecessary escalation.

The Residential Estate Security Officer employs proactive and reactive security methodologies to mitigate risk across residential environments. Duties include monitoring security systems, conducting patrols, responding to alarms and incidents, and providing accurate, timely reporting.

Assignments may include fixed-post coverage, patrol-based operations, and Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, depending on operational requirements.
This is an armed role with an expectation of active incident response.

• Minimum 3 years of private security, residential security, personal protection, or equivalent military experience
• Current California Exposed Firearms Permit
• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Demonstrated experience in residential or estate security environments
• Ability to observe, identify, and report suspicious or unusual activity with accuracy and professionalism
• Familiarity with residential security technologies, including:
• CCTV and video management systems
• Access control systems
• Intrusion detection and alarm systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for incident reporting and shift turnover
• High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Maintains physical readiness appropriate for residential security duties
• Basic proficiency with computers and security-related software systems
