** Newport Beach, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a premier retail location, you will conduct routine foot and bicycle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees, and/or vendors at a retail center by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking facilities, exterior perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report security-related concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.

+ Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and assist with the enforcement of property rules, parking requirements, and other site-specific guidelines.

+ Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
