As a Patrol Officer at a premier retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and tenants. This driving position requires a valid driver's license.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail center.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of common areas, parking structures, storefront perimeters, and exterior areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services as directed by site procedures.

+ Monitor access points, loading areas, and restricted locations; document visitor activity, incidents, and patrol observations through required reports.

+ Help maintain an orderly, welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and de-escalating customer or tenant concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

* + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
