Mobile Solutions Architect

Salary: $156, per year

• Were seeking 7+ years of software development or engineering experience, including at least 4 years building and releasing native mobile applications.
• We require a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• You should bring hands-on expertise across iOS (Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit) and Android (Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK), plus familiarity with cross-platform patterns and technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Were looking for a track record of shipping, maintaining, and updating consumer apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• You should have strong knowledge of mobile API design, REST/gRPC, authentication standards such as OAuth 2.0 and biometric authentication, and offline persistence using Core Data/Swift Data or Room/SQLite.

• You should understand mobile security, including Keychain/Keystore management, certificate pinning, secure handling of sensitive customer data, and OWASP mobile security principles.
• Were looking for experience with APNs/FCM push notifications, deep linking, feature flags, mobile analytics, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, Git strategies, and AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Codex.
• You should be comfortable working in fast-paced, multi-system environments and communicating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Helpful additional experience includes React Native or Flutter and the ability to assess architectural trade-offs; CRM and telephony platforms such as Twilio Voice or Call Kit; regulated industries, high-volume transactional systems, or SaaS; and mobile payments or camera/document processing such as OCR and VIN scanning.

• Well rely on you to own the architecture of our native iOS and Android applications, defining module boundaries, state management, navigation, and dependency injection.
• Youll turn business needs into technical designs, screen flows, API contracts, developer‑ready tickets, acceptance criteria, and platform‑specific behaviors.
• Youll assess feasibility and scope with executive leaders, business stakeholders, and product owners, and sequence delivery around store reviews, phased rollouts, and minimum OS support.
• Youll review technical approaches and complex feature designs before development, identifying risks and edge cases involving offline use, background execution, OS fragmentation, and permissions.
• Youll ensure our apps integrate effectively with backend services, CRM, payment systems, and third‑party SDKs.
• Youll unblock and guide mobile developers across iOS and Android, occasionally contributing Swift or Kotlin code to resolve barriers.
• Youll own mobile release engineering, CI/CD automation, code signing, and app‑store deployment processes.
• Youll monitor app reliability and performance, including crash‑free rates, cold‑start time, and app size, using tools such as Crashlytics, Sentry, App Store Connect, and Google Play Console.
• Youll provide the CTO and technology leaders with clear updates, risk assessments, and architectural recommendations.
• Youll explain launch impacts, OS deprecations, and store‑policy changes to non‑technical teams, while promoting maintainable architecture, privacy standards, and store compliance.
