We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Applications Developer to join our Journey Transformation Engineering team in Newport Beach, CA.

Relocation assistance may be provided. You will fill an existing role that sits on a team of 4 people in the Consumer Markets division.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise web applications, APIs, microservices, and integration services.

Develop backend applications and services using C#, .NET/ASP.NET Core, Node.js, and Type Script.

Develop modern user experiences using React, JavaScript/Type Script, HTML, and CSS.Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations with internal and external systems.

Build and support cloud-native solutions using AWS, including services such as Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.Participate in modernization initiatives, including migrating legacy applications to modern .NET, React, API-based, and cloud-native architectures.

Implement secure application patterns utilizing OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SSO, and API security best practices.

Develop and maintain automated build and deployment processes using CI/CD, Git, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform.

Troubleshoot complex production issues across the frontend, application/API, database, integration, and AWS infrastructure layers.

Implement effective application logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, performance monitoring, and observability using technologies such as Grafana, Splunk, Cloud Watch, and Open Telemetry.

Participate in architecture and technical design discussions and recommend appropriate technology and implementation approaches.

Conduct code reviews and promote reusable components, engineering standards, secure coding practices, and development best practices.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to other developers.

Collaborate effectively with Product, Architecture, UX, QA, Security, Dev Ops/Cloud, and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on development experience with C# and .NET/ASP.NET Core.

Strong experience with Node.js and Type Script.

Strong experience building modern web applications using React.

Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.

Hands-on experience developing and supporting applications in AWS.

Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL and familiarity with No

SQL technologies such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.

Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software engineering practices.

Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, SSO, authentication, authorization, and application security.

Strong understanding of application architecture, design patterns, scalability, resiliency, performance, and secure development practices.

Strong production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple technical and business teams.
