Electronics Production Operative

Overview

Production Operatives (Electronics) – Newport & Calbourne. 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, flexible between 6.30am and 5pm. Initial 4 week trial, may extend to 12 weeks and potentially temp to perm for the right candidate.

• Electronic and mechanical assembly using a variety of plastic components and connectors, printed circuit boards and cables.
• May be required to solder.
• Use of hand and small power tools.
• Working to technical specifications, schedules and quality standards.
• Adherence to health & safety.

• A good level of previous electronics assembly experience is required; soldering experience is an advantage.
• Experience with in the aerospace or automotive industries is preferred.
• Experience of SMT is an advantage.
• Must have good attention to detail, manual dexterity and high-quality standards.
• Must be able to work on own initiative, to instruction and timescales, as well as part of a team.

Salary:
Starting on £12.21 (increasing after 12 weeks)
