Project Designer (Hybrid Position)

Our Client is searching for an Interior Designer who will work at two locations each week. The designer will work onsite at a client’s office approximately 30 miles north of the city 2-3 days a week. Most of the work needed at the client’s office will involve AutoCAD.

The other days the candidate will be working either at their main office downtown or at another location near Schaumburg. The location will depend on the candidate’s preference. This work will be assisting other in-house designers on corporate projects.

DUTIES

• AutoCAD design
• Space planning
• Interior design
• Product specification and finish selections
• Preparing installation plans
• Document design details

SKILLS

• Proficiency with MS Office suite, AutoCAD (CET highly desired)
• AutoCAD and/or CET experience
  
  Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated, proactive and a positive team player
• Professional oral, written and presentation skills

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts or similar field
• 2 Years of commercial design experience
