About the Position

Optometrist contract position at VSP Vision serving the Huntington Ingalls Industries employee and dependent population. Practice will be 2–3 days per week during peak months (June and July) in a modern health and vision center equipped with state‑of‑the‑art automated optical equipment and supported by a highly‑trained staff.

• Provide comprehensive vision exam services to employees and dependents.
• Perform eye examinations, diagnose and manage eye conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to deliver patient‑centered care.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system.
• Adhere to state licensure requirements and maintain a current Virginia optometry license.

• Current and valid Virginia Optometrist license.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care and exceeding patient expectations.
• Team‑player with a continuous desire to develop skills and integrate new techniques.
• Capability to work a flexible schedule, 2–3 days a week during peak months.
